BLOG ENTRY NO 9 : The Monarch of Philippine Radio (The Birthday Blog)

Oh well, it's been 2 years since I made a blog during my college days. Just because I'm busy with my work, from a strange student into a Professional Teacher. Yes, I made it! I just passed the Board Exam since September 2012 and got my license. And I am now currently apply for Teacher 1 in a public High School near Antipolo. Anyway, how was it? I just want to share my new past time every night before I sleep.

Did you know the last time I visited Anthony Taberna way back September 26? Ooohhh, I'm still Starstruck on that guy. He's now having an Instagram account. He started to learn taking pictures using his own moblie phone. Oh well! Nice to meet him. Every year I had seen him and took some pictures. Ahahaha! I missed him already, but I still watching and tuning on the radio specially every afternoon.

And speaking of radio, I want to share my crazy and.... what else? Arrrggghh! I can't explain. Somebody help me! Hahaha! Just kidding. I want you to meet my new icon, which is also known as..... THE MONARCH OF PHILIPPINE RADIO. And he's turning 26 anytime I made this blog entry. Yeheyyyy! I dedicate this blog only for him. Ayiieeee! Still blushing. :) And his name is...... Chico Loco, a late night DJ like no other. You know why? Just shut up and read it. :)

Chico Loco (Photo from Edward Dela Cuesta and edited by me)

Chico Loco (Mark Jimel Delos Santos Gales in real life) is the eldest son of Jaime and Elsie, whose now working in Ireland as OFW, and finished his study at De La Salle University Dasmariñas (now La Salle-Dasmariñas) in Cavite. He took up Broadcast Journalism as his first choice, and he also became a member of a chorale group in the same school. That is why he loves to sing whether he might got lose his voice or shout on air. Hahahaha! He also been dreaming of become a field reporter, until he got hired in Manila Broadcasting Company in 2009 as Radio Jock (I dunno the exact date of being a radio jock. Hihihi.). He grew up in a simple and quite place of Biñan City in Laguna together with his younger brother, cousins and other relatives. He has two cute and lovely pet dogs named Choo Choo and Snoopy. And he already got his brand new car.

From being an avid fan of some popular radio jocks including China Paps (aka China Heart), Martin D. , Nicole Hyala, Chris Tsuper, and Papa Jack (which now became his partner in Gabi Na, Gising Na!), Chico Loco became popular in his late night radio program entitles YES! Diaries which airs every 9 in the evening 'til 1 in the morning (or it might be extended depends on his last caller) on YES! FM 101.1. He might called himself as "Your Humbleness" because of being so humble to his avid listeners. And he became "The Monarch of Philippine Radio", as he named by himself on his Facebook Fanpage. Ahahaha! Sounds funny but well deserving. :) Just like Papa Jack (Radio Jock from 90.7 Love Radio's TLC: True Love Conversations), he also give some sort of advice and add some jokes during the program in order to lessen the tension of some callers. He also laughs harder everytime he told his younger years as a kid and as a student.

During the segment entitled "Roleta ng Kapalaran" (Wheel of Fortune), he might change his voice with some of the characters made by himself. It can be playful or quite annoying when you heard the voices of Notnot ( the weird witch who loves to ask for donation and always give a potion for any problems), Kapitan Tutan (a Barangay Chairman who always bring his DVDs and give the movie titles with an X-Rated theme but educational, Ahahaha!), Madam Chiki (a gay fortune teller riding in a hot air pinkish balloon who likes to have a date with a handsome guys and loves to tell the Lucky Anez Anez), Chiclet ( a young silly kid who always asking silly questions and loves to play around, just like Chico of course.), Lola Kerps ( an old woman and online game enthusiast who loves to tell stories on legends and myths to her grandchildren), Koyang (the parody of Big Brother who always give his weekly task and give instead of punishments, a reward to his housemate inside the Nipa Hut or "Kubo" in Tagalog term), and News Anchor and Correspondent of BALITAnga (news with a nonsense topic and headline). This awesome talent made him more popular than any other midnight radio program.

Chico's Characters (without Koyang and BALITAnga Anchor and Correspondent)

Everytime I heard my tweets and even photos on my Twitter, he might appreciate it in a nice way. That was the time I already addicted to his big and swag voice. Whenever I look at his face, he looks like my father, literally because he acted just like my father, but not for long. In his quotes of inspiration during his intro, I already copied and made it as my Facebook status. Yah! Obviously. :) I am now a fan of Chico. I cannot enjoy my entire sleep without his voice on my ears. And I usually wake up early eventhough I got 3 to 4 hours of sleep because of him. Hahahaha! And no one can take it away from me. Someone might tell, he's not well educated on giving solutions and he might be a star because of Papa Jack, I'm not against them. You should try to listen, if not, I will not recommend to tune in and turn off the radio. I look at him as a true person eventhough he might get silly and naughty sometimes, he just want to entertain us to decrease some stress from work or from school. You can enjoy tweeting or posting his fanpage. All he want is to be happy. Yah! He always wear a smile with our without his braces on his teeth. :)

Oh well! I want to greet a happy birthday and wish him more success, more happiness, and more blessings to come. And someday, I will visit your booth and take a picture with you, chubby thing. :)

Until then, his name is Chico Loco and I am the blogger, saying goodbye fro now, take care, have a nice sleep, and YOU GO FAR.....

BLOG ENTRY NO. 8 : A BIG TRAGEDY

It's hard to become a plastic thing for my part. My classmates may think I'm OK. But in a reality, it's not. Being a loner in 1st Batch of enrollees for this semester is the biggest challenge for me. Maybe because, I can't adjust myself in dealing with my classmates since they know me better as the type of being an outkast in our group. I lost my friends from the 2nd Batch. This could be the saddest moment of my life. I can't live my life alone, but I can hold on tight because I know God will made a way to go back with my true friends.

For now, my past time is hanging up with books inside the College Library. I'm so thankful that I can now read and learn everything through reading a lot of books. And even if I need to make an assignment, I can search some sources and write it down as easy as 1,2,3. And my most favorite part of this place, is the Periodical Section which became my second place for past time next to bench. I love to read newspapers because I am aware on what's happening in our country.

And speaking of newspapers, I have met a lot of friends in Twitter, Facebook, and even on Blogspot. I am now a contributor of the newly-made blog dedicated for the news anchors from a big network. I admire them most that's why I am now an active member of one of the biggest and longest-running news program through their live chat, making a good insights for today's headlines. It's a great honor to be one of them. I am still loyal even if I'm busy right now for the last 2 Chapters of our Thesis.

Maybe, I'm not quite affected so much through this tragedy. I can meet with them and help to each other for our major major success in the Final Oral defense. if we work together, we can finish it with no doubt. I am still enjoying myself even without them during class hours. My priorities for now is study, career, family and faith in God. I know this is very important for me to release my pain deep inside my heart.

I reminded myself in this quotation : "I am a soldier. I'll never loosing hope and love. I am strong in spite of a big crisis in my life." I made my own quotation just because I always thinking of negative outcomes instead of positive outcomes. And I know, I'm not a quitter. Winners never quit, but quitters never win. That's the best thing for me.

BLOG ENTRY NO. 7 : Hard- Hitting Headache from my new Headset?

What a weird trivia from my sister. I never stop crying when I got a big and terrible headache since yesterday. At first, I thought that I got hit from the Fire Extinguisher from the Halloween Party. And then, the next day, I bought a new headset for my cellular phone to use my radio. After that, I just can't stop using it. Until, later at night, my head's getting aching. I doubt during that time which could be the cause of that headache. So, I just slept earlier than 10:00 PM.Every time I changed my position, my headache was getting worst.

Until I found out from my sister, I am very abusive of using my headset due to a big and terrible migraine. And that's it. I don't use my headset until I feel better. But I am not abusive in using it. I just fell asleep during that time. This was unexpected.I learned from myself, never sleep with your headsets turning on and loud.

Anyway, have a nice weekend. ^_^

BLOG ENTRY NO. 6 : Food Trip with Juicy Girls

Hey Guys! How's your weekend? Well, I know you are already busy preparing for the upcoming All Saints Day. I hope you enjoy your long weekend. Anyway, it's a long long time in making our revised thesis for one week or more. And I think it's good to share some secrets with my very good and most trusted persons in my college life, my best friends.

Last Wednesday, we have done our get together in SM Taytay. Supposed to be, we will watched a horror movie. But sad to say, it's already closed and changed into a love story. Very sucks! So, I told them to have a little bit of food trip at McDonald's. Since then, it's their first time to eat there without hesitation. I have ordered Regular Spaghetti, French Fries, Softdrinks and Hamburger. I also paid it because I want to treat them, as I promised last time when I visited my friend's feast day in Binangonan. They were satisfied to their food.

And also, one time, they saw me, always drinking a Regular Coke Float. "It's that delicious?",my friend asked. "Yah! Sounds like Milk Shake with a twist of softdrink.", I answered. But she has no money to buy that drink. And my friend have ordered some food for take home to her mother (She was scolded by her mother before she joined with us). We teased her, until she gave up and bought for another one. She already smiled after it.

It was a funny and very yummy experience having a group date with my friends. That's why I loved them and I missed them so much.

That's it! Happy Halloween!
